Key Initiatives 2025

CRVEDP remains steadfast in our mission to serve as the hub and landing spot for economic development opportunities in our region. Our commitment to fostering business growth, attracting new investments, and supporting local enterprises ensures a thriving economy for all.

Your support guarantees that all stakeholders —both new and existing—have a centralized resource for guidance, connections, and opportunities, reinforcing the strength and sustainability of our regional economy.

In 2025 we are focused on the key initiatives below; as a Pioneer contributor you can choose to be a lead sponsor on one of the following:

  • Food Systems: Strengthening local agriculture, supply chains, and food eco-systems.
  • Transportation & Infrastructure: Investing in connectivity, safety & communities on the ground and in the air — including forming a Regional Transportation Network.
  • Ripple Effect (Next Gen Leaders): Developing the workforce and leadership pipeline to empower the next generation in our communities.
  • Fiscal Strength & Prosperity: Expanding access to funding for small businesses and entrepreneurs, creation of a regional revolving loan fund and sustainable financing for the EDP.
  • Building Economic Eco-Systems: Continuing to build on relationships, foundations and accountability of the CRVEDP, includes our western Garfield County data project funded by the grant won with the Colorado Energy Office, collaborating with housing initiatives, inventory analysis and asset mapping, website management, representing the region at events.

Contribution Project/Enterprise Zone Program

CRVEDP is proud to be a Contribution Project through the Enterprise Zone program with OEDIT and the State of Colorado. This may entitle you to a 25% tax credit when you make a monetary contribution to the CRVEDP. Learn more about how this will benefit you as a contributor and contact us for eligibility details.

Exciting Development for 2025 - 2027

CRVEDP named recipient of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant through the Colorado Energy Office. The grant will allocate $240,000 over three years for staffing capacity to set us up to work on our goals and initiatives. More to come!
